Matthew Farina is an artist and writer living in Brooklyn, NY. He creates abstract paintings and collages derived from memory and observation of the natural world. His work has been exhibited widely throughout the United States, including solo shows in Philadelphia and New York City.
Farina received a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA in Art Criticism and Writing from the School of Visual Arts. He is currently the Director of Admissions at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he has worked with young artists since 2010.
